Here is a Flickr Flash slideshow on how Colombian empanadas are made!
See here for step by step directions for making empanadas. Those same directions can be sourced by clicking on the flash show and going to the flickr page for that step.
Enjoy!

This is going to make my Colombian husband very happy! Do you have any recipes for ajiaco and/or arepas? I am always looking for good ones.

Yeah, I have not uploaded my arepas series yet but its just sitting on my drive waiting for some free time.
I am working on publishing a whole series of how-to books on colombian food in the near future so stay tuned for that! (bookmark the blog so you dont lose it).
I will ask my mom about ajiaco. I remember now eating this (and its yummm) but I have not made it myself. She will have a recipe for it for sure!

Hello Nika… I came through ‘101 cookbooks’ site. I liked your presentation of recipe very much. and photos are breathtaking, just gorgeous.
I also need a help, could you please tell me how you did the flickr slideshow on your site? I’d greatly appreciate if you could guide me how to do it, like what code to use etc., I’ve a flickr account already.
Thanks somuch.

Indira: Definitely! It might be best if I sent it to your email address which I can not find at your beautiful site!
If I cut and paste here it would launch the slideshow and not let us share the html.
just email me at nika7k at yahoo dot com and I will reply with the code.
